Your data are much safer and secured when it travels through the un-trappable fiber network of MetroNet. Because the signal is carried by light there is less possibility of data corruptions due to Electromagnetic/Radio frequency Interferences generated from various sources in the external environment/equipment/transmission towers etc. However, as MetroNet is a public access network, we do strongly recommend to install all necessary Firewall, VPN equipment etc. to prevent any and all unauthorized access to your private networks.
